The Bending Mirror... you probably have one tucked away in your magic drawer..

I do love this effect, it's unlike any other trick a magician will do, it can be performed surrounded, and it's next to no reset.

A working pro's dream.

Dont get me wrong, I have closed a show with this trick, but it's not quite at it's full potential.

To be honest...

It's a total a pain in the ass!

Seriously every time I think I have it solved, issues arise, issues in making the effect play, issues in handling, issues in sequencing, timing and more.

We no longer have large newspapers to wrap the mirror, and paper bags of a certain size can mask the effect.

PLUS the higher end models dont quite adhere to the sizes and ratios that Oswald Rae insisted on in his original version... making it not quite as deceptive.

However there is light! I think I'm cracking it, this video includes all my latest thoughts, observations and solutions, including a recent revelation that makes so much sense...
