Hello Magi!
Just want to say what a pleasure it is to share this journey with you all, I’ve been quite reflective this last month, on magic and the careers of the past great magicians, and reading about a few who were incredibly successful in their day, gave a lot to magic and yet we don’t even remember their names. One such man was Owen Clark, a genius in the early 1900’s who went from incredible success to a tragic demise, a magician who invented so much that we take for granted today and a victim of copyists, rip off dealers and jealous magicians. His work and all too short life was recorded in a fascinating book called 'Owen Clark, A Genius Forgotten' by Christopher Brinson, highly recommended if you can find a copy. Or you can find him sprinkled throughout the magic literature of the early 1900’s.
So this months Magic on The Go is all about bringing the past to life.
There are 20 new videos this month, but don’t sweat, this is the fun of being a subscriber and having this content available to you wherever you are and whenever you are ready.
