Sam Berland, was a Chicago magic dealer and inventor of many, many clever tricks and principles.
He published a number of great books packed with commercial ideas (such as his double card stab), invented some of the best Bill Tear methods and manufactured some brilliant equipment .

For a long time I had wanted to perform his two shot glass vanish. I had the instructions, but not the gimmicks, which seemed impossible to track down .

So I came up with my own version. Because I have no patience!!

Not sure at first if it would fool anyone, I tried it out on a few friends at various casual events, and it killed.

So… now it’s in my show:)

Recently I was able to track down some gimmicks from the original Berland version, which inspired me to share all versions, exclusively, with you.

We start with the original Berland version and then later I shall share Double Shot Two, my version with some additional twists and thoughts.

DOUBLE SHOT is sudden and shocking magic, an effect that no one seems to be performing... except now.. maybe us :)
