Why do gags work? Why do we need them? In this talk I try to throw light on how to understand WHERE a gag is coming from and HOW to deliver it in your own personal way.

Using the classic stand up magic/comedy piece: Terry Seabrooke's CIGARETTE IN JACKET as a teaching tool, I will dissect the structure of the routine, the WHY and HOW and PLACEMENT of the jokes and most importantly, how to SELL them.
