Back in the 80's, when I was a kid I was a member of the Southend Sorcerers Society and Walt Lees was not only a member but would lecture for us quite a lot. Walt was the editor of Pabular from 1978 to 1981 among many other things and the creator of some killer close up and moves.
He was also a brilliant pitchman.
Of all the things Walt taught us, the one thing that really stuck in my mind was his radically different approach to the classic side steal.
I have used this move for over 30 years, added some finesses of my own - of course - it's the only side steal I do, it's invisible, and at the request of certain people who know me... I'm teaching it here.
Guard this move with you life!
