PART THREE
In talking with my friend Noel Britten about my egg bag search, he mentioned to me a routine by Max Andrews entitled the Examined Egg Bag. Somethings that Max marketed a number of years under the Vampire Magic banner.
I did a search, couldn’t find one and I reached out to my friend Adrian Harris of SecondHandmagic.com and sure enough not only did he have an Examined Egg Bag but it was still in the original packaging!
This started a very interesting journey into the history of its use and some other variations including one by the Great Levante.
Interestingly, I just watched a past interview with Edwin Hooper of Supreme Magic, who said that he was inspired to become a magician when Levante brought him on stage to help in an egg bag routine.
It’s just goes to show, you never know the power of the egg bag, and you never know who you’re going to inspire when you perform it. :)
