One of the earliest explanations of diminishing cards was by Charles Bertram in C. Lang Neil’s groundbreaking book, the now ironically named, The Modern Conjuror. It’s a terrific and oh-so-simple method and one he performed for Royalty around the world. It’s also incredible practical.
