This leapt out at me recently, a routine that I had read about many years ago, suddenly came to life.
I had once read a brief, impossible sounding performance-only description of this trick and often wondered if it was possible or as good as the reviewer made it sound, well, footage of a performance surfaced on the internet and it was better than I’d hoped. Luxor Gali Gali was a brilliant and phenomenally successful performer in the 1940’s, one of a long line of Egyptian Gali Gali men, Gali Gali means QUICKLY QUICKLY which is exactly how he performed. The trick? It was a coins across routine that he was said to have done ON STAGE for a massive Vegas audience and presented in a way that made it PLAY. It’s a lesson in magic, talk about ‘packs small plays big’!
I’ve analyzed the performance and will teach it to you. It’s gone right into my own show, that’s how much I think of this routine.
Oh and it’s technically incredibly simple, which means all you have to do is PRESENT IT, and that’s the easy part… right?

One of my FAVORITE walk around effects.
A funny and amazing routine plus a lovely handling of the 'Han Ping Chien Coins Through Table' (but through a hanky held by the audience) and ending with an almost visual 'drop thru'.

SHATTERING COINS AND SILVER BALLS
From my youth and the distant past comes this weird little Eddie Joseph miracle. Almost lost to the annals of history, this powerful vanish has everything, plot, intrigue and a kicker ending.
Iit's easier than it looks, and also - as it uses fire - it comes with a heavy warning and disclaimer...
