There may be more versions of the 4 ACE plot than any other effect… 1000’s seem to exist, read almost any magic book and you may find any number of versions.

I have thoughts - strong thoughts - on this trick and its various variations. I love the idea of it, as it’s not a ‘pick a card effect. I love that it’s a ‘performance piece’ that lends itself to strong patter stories.

BUT… The ‘birds of a feather that flock together’ patter REALLY NEEDS TO GO… we will get to that.

Often the four ace routine offers strong visual magic, and as long as we dont clutter the trick with unnecessary BS and the patter and presentation is clean and easy to follow, then I think it deserves a good look and at least one method should be added to your arsenal.
