UPDATES FOR JANUARY 2019!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to Magic On The Go 2019, crazy huh? 2019… I can't believe we are living in the future… and yet it seems that no matter how many new technological miracles arrive, straight old magic tricks have more impact than ever. We are living on the new golden era of magic, and I hope you are enjoying it to its fullest.

I’ve been a little sick over the last week, so the first video of the year celebrates my new husky sexy voice (or what’s left of it) but it was fun to do, a passion project, a one hour lesson (yes ONE HOUR) on the late Paul Potassy’s routine for Cards Across. Done in the same style as my in-depth exploration of David Nixon’s Card In Cigarette.

Following that are a bunch of methods for Palming and my routine for Palm and Recovery from C2P that you may be able to work into the Potassy routine.

Also this month we have the kicker ending to my marketed packet trick PRINT-ENTIOUS, (don't worry I've included all the full routine and trailer videos), I've added probably the simplest, organic and truly commercial way of magically introducing your business cards, and as if that's not enough I have added THREE more videos of my on going teach-in on The Glass Of Water Production from The Hat, trick: 1) The methods of the street performers, 2) A no gimmick routine and 3) Best of all, Victor Peacock's brilliant stage routine. You're gonna love it.

See you inside!

cheers
Steve V.

  • THE BACK POCKET - NO COVER HAT LOAD

No Topit, No cover, No front pocket NO PROBLEM! Sometimes when you want to produce a glass of water from a hat you just don’t have any of the necessary ‘stuff’ with you. • VICTOR PEACOCK'S GLASS, HAT & CHAIR

PROBLEM SOLVED: As much as I love the Hat and Glass routine, I’ve always felt that the misdirection wasn’t quite enough for a large audience, it’s great for a small crowd, but there’s not much to see or hook the bigger crowd, and if that’s not handled properly, eyes could wander and secrets coul...

  • THE BUSINESS

The most challenging point of any close up performance, whether it’s a walk around or show environment, is pushing the business cards in an organic and non tacky way. For many years I used two different sequences for this very thing, the first one I call THE BUSINESS, and it really is, and even t...

  • PRINT-ENTIOUS THE KICKER ENDING

Years ago I released a packet trick called PRINT-ENTIOUS, detailing my all time favorite ultra visual printing card effect. I love it, and use it to this day in my show. (I’ve also added it to this playlist so you can see the whole thing ) .

The one thing I held back was my KICKER ENDING fo...

  • POTASSY'S CARDS ACROSS

I’ve been a little sick over the last week of 2018, so the first video of the new year celebrates my new husky sexy voice (or what’s left of it) but it was fun to do, a passion project, a one hour lesson (yes ONE HOUR) on the late Paul Potassy’s routine for Cards Across. • VALENTINE THUMB BUTT PALM

You don't wanna know... or do you... a terrific palming technique just for you.

  • THE PALM & RECOVERY

Pulling cards from yours and the spectators pockets is a classic bit of sleight of hand, but Steve has a few new wrinkles on it that could make it your favorite new performance piece. INCLUDING a new handling for the Vanishing Card Box!
