February, the weather is in chaos and so am I. It’s been a nutty month, pitching new TV series, some scripted and some magic reality based, I shot a new comedy pilot which, if it gets picked up, will be a blast to do every week. Doing all that got me thinking about all the times I played a magician on TV, more than I thought! So I edited a fun little clip video together of all the shows, see if you can name them all, also if you have any burning questions that you’ve always wanted to ask, feel free to do so in the comments section and I’ll be happy to answer as truthfully as I - legally - can :)
Had some amazing revelations over the last few months about performing magic in this day and age, and I’ll be sharing them over the course of this update.
I’ve been working on so much new magic that the problem this month is what to begin with, so I decide to go way back to an effect from my childhood, and if you want to produce a glass of water without using your pockets, topits, stretching out your waistband or breaking your rubber cover, then NO COVER is for you. I’ll teach it and then later this month I’ll give you a bunch of additions so you can work out your own personal routine.
For a while now I’ve wanted to do a deep dive teach-in into that much feared sleight THE PASS, focusing on four of my favorites, The Classic Pass, The Table Tap Pass, The Fred Lowe Riffle Pass and the incredible Braue Invisible Turnover pass. This month is month to do it. Don't be scared, the pass isn't as hard as many would have you believe, it's a combo is smoothness, timing, misdirection and guts!
Don’t worry, there will be self working magic, and close up and mentalism and… well you’ll see :)
So let’s go, and remember, feel free to reach out on the forums and ask members for help, we are all here to learn and grow and help each other!
